Our Buzz × Jessie pairing represents a thoughtfully planned breeding within the Wirehaven Kennels program. Jessie proudly earned a NAVHDA Prize 1 with a perfect 112/112 Natural Ability score, demonstrating the strong field instincts, cooperation, and drive that define the versatile German Wirehaired Pointer. Paired with Buzz’s exceptional pedigree, intelligence, and versatile hunting ability, this combination is one we believe is bound for success in producing strong, capable hunting companions.
We are excited to announce that Jessie delivered 7 healthy German Wirehaired Pointer puppies from this pairing. The litter is already showing the strong structure, confidence, and natural curiosity that we strive to produce at Wirehaven Kennels.
At this time, all male puppies have been reserved, and we currently have 3 females remaining available for placement. These pups are expected to develop into versatile hunting partners with the drive and temperament needed for upland hunting, waterfowl work, and loyal family companionship.
We look forward to watching these pups grow and are excited to see the next generation of Wirehaven Kennels dogs take to the field.

In the field, he carries himself with confidence, intelligence, and a natural understanding of the hunt. Buzz has an exceptional ability to read terrain, adapt to changing conditions, and stay connected with the handler while covering ground efficiently. Whether working dense grouse cover, pushing through cattails, or transitioning to water retrieves, he approaches every situation with focus and determination.
What truly sets Buzz apart is the balance he brings between drive and cooperation. He is a dog that hunts hard but remains thoughtful and responsive, making him both a highly capable hunting partner and an enjoyable dog to handle in the field. At home, Buzz settles in easily and carries the calm, stable temperament that we value deeply in the Wirehaven Kennels program.
Jessie
Jessie, with her proven field talent - is a tracker, pointer, and retriever who does it all with finesse and precision. Her natural ability to honor her packmates in the field demonstrates her intelligence and team spirit—traits that promise to shine in her pups. Jessie’s shorter, intense body coat offers ideal protection for dense underbrush and ensures agility in the field. Jessie’s debut as a dam could not have been better timed, even if it wasn’t planned.
