After watching the incredible development of our 2026 Buzz × Jessie litter, Wirehaven Kennels is excited to announce plans for another Buzz × Jessie pairing, with puppies anticipated around March 2027, pending Jessie's natural heat cycle and a successful breeding.
And for the hunting home, that timing couldn't be better.
A spring puppy gives you the summer months to build your relationship, establish obedience, introduce birds and water, and begin developing those natural instincts—putting your pup at a perfect age for that first fall season in the woods or duck blind!
The natural ability we saw develop in their first litter was truly something special. Strong noses. Natural retrieving desire. Confidence in the water. Cooperation with the handler. Intelligence, curiosity, and the ability to adapt to the everyday pressures of life. These are the qualities we strive to produce in our German Wirehaired Pointers.
Our dogs may be bred with the field in mind, but they live with us 365 days a year. We want dogs capable of handling societal pressures before the pressures of the hunt—dogs that can become exceptional hunting partners while still being enjoyable, cooperative members of the family.

Puppy Delivery & Travel Arrangements
Wirehaven Kennels understands that many of our puppy families travel from out of state or long distances to pick up their new hunting companion. For buyers traveling 8 hours or more, we may be able to coordinate delivery or meet at a mutually agreed location to help shorten travel time.
Delivery or halfway meeting arrangements may be available depending on scheduling and distance. Delivery fees typically include fuel costs plus a travel service fee based on distance and time. In most cases, delivery arrangements range between $250–$600, depending on the location and total travel distance.
Common meeting points for long-distance buyers may include larger regional cities such as Chicago, St. Louis, or other mutually agreed locations along the travel route.
All delivery arrangements must be scheduled in advance and agreed upon prior to the puppy’s pickup date. Our goal is to make the transition as smooth as possible while ensuring every Wirehaven puppy arrives safely to their new home.
