Versatile Bird Dog Boot Camp (BDBC)

Service Description

The 5-Day Versatile Bird Dog Boot Camp (BDBC) includes everything in the 3-Day Upland Boot Camp, plus two additional days dedicated primarily to waterfowl exposure and water retrieves. This service is designed for versatile breeds and dogs preparing for mixed upland and waterfowl seasons. Days 1–3 focus on upland bird exposure, confidence, drive, and natural field behavior. Days 4–5 emphasize positive water introductions, short water retrieves, and waterfowl concepts. When conditions and the individual dog allow, additional water exposure opportunities may also be incorporated beyond the two primary water days. When appropriate and with owner consent, light, ethical e-collar conditioning may be used to reinforce recall and field control. All work is conducted through daily sessions only, with no overnight boarding. Bird exposure is subject to legal season regulations. Dogs are handled individually, ethically, and treated as part of the Wirehaven family.
